More about me
If you blended 1950's cinema and 80's Pop culture with sprinkles of the Tony Hawks Video Franchise you would spawn me someone who is just a random ass chracter but for the most part my personality is dangerous along with my interests. Its like walking into Urban Outfiiters in like early 2012 and your just trying to see what all the hype is about with two door cinema club and become a fan of the first album becuase it really encapculates that time.My first two years of High School were innocent and then by my Jr year my ego took over mostly throwing partys for my small highschool cattalpulting me into a spiral of drugs from the help of my parents which led to thier split and for me well nothing to stand on when all the drugs were out. During that time It I guess from all the drug it turned me into a better person from all the lessons it came with but none the less dont do drugs kids stay in school go to college expirement a little create a familly and die fufilled. At the time of my life where I guess im pursing tranquility in creating a beautiful familly with my wonderfull wife so thats the goal theese days is to cemment myself into a carreer which is more suited for me and continuing building from thier.
I think this all dates back when I was a child... the imagery and also the way it looks espically in older films, back then they made smoking "look cool". Started my cig journey in highschool my neighboors who were more on the "redneck" side primarly showed me how to proplerly smoke a ciggarette and not to inhale the damn thing like a fucking joint. I guess from that point I was smoking ciggarettes they just went naturaul with how I went with my daily life went through numerous brands and flavors through the years, every smoker I come across has thier distict brand they smoke like some love the flavors of "Camel 99's" "Newports" Marlboro Lights" and even the rare "Virginia Slims" but for me I have stuck with the "Marlboro Black Reds" this is my favorite to indulge in since it packs the right amount of flavor for me and packs the perfect punch for me.
So this became habit for me in 2013 and has been ever since and dont think of putting it down untill my health demands me too, as ignorant as this sounds this is the truth.Vapes and other methods of taking in tobacco have been popular and dont seem to interest me at all they just dont capture the essence of smoking a real ciggarette.Honestly I love the smell of these damn things too as weird as that sounds I think there is some comfort to it I mean the only human being I was around as a child who was smoking was my bigger brother and he was honestly a big infleunce on my life. So many reasons to enjoy them and one my favorite ways funny enough is while dropping a duece lmao I mean its a laxacitive so they kinda come in clutch It was some time ago that I visited my wifes grandparents and was able to smoke all day long inside thier trailer which gave way to a unique expierience.
My body gets tired and then energized its like some type of energy is field is messing with me!!??? SkITZO type of entry we have going on but oh well its all apart of my aesthetic right so lets us continue walking through this little section of my brain that is just slop at this point that I am providing for you. Work is going by smooth constantly learning here so all in all its going okay I guess. Full network scan of the facility is nice this is giving me so many ideas and then i never execute them story of my life. I think getting in the swing of things when it comes to theese little entrys is essential
2008 what a year for me and I dont know why I keep thinking of this time well I kinda of do something about that time really stuck with me I just can remember starting off that year on a good note with always attched to my Nintendo DS lite I received for christmas in 2007 and I remember wanting a nintendo wii but instead got that which I did not mind I was always playing zelda and the phantom hour glass most of the time. I had a COMPAQ PC in my room at the time it was running windows xp at the time haha and remember being stuck on a certain level on zelda and having to look up a guide on a website back then to get me through its crazy becuase I remember that exact weekend my aunt stayed over with us which is so bizzare thinking back on it haha. I was in 5th grade sometimes skimming through myspace there was a time when my cousin had "A PUNK" By vampire weekend as her profile song on her profile and knowing I was listening to a really good song that I soon would be obssesed with. That first album by vampire weekend was another reason why I just loved that year I spent so much time listening to that album and even on summer days after summer school when MTV would still play music videos but only for a short period. This time in my life was a big transition into who I really am today the whole thing had to do with it the ups and the downs with that year, the housing market crashed the war on terror was still a thing but I didnt give a shit I was 10 enjoying what I had around me and just thinking back on it is just wild. The last like 2 months of 5th grade year were amazing it was always just days of constantly doing work on our laptops that would get delievered in these big metal carts. These laptops were checked out to us like library books and just we would have a blast on these computers it was truly such a fun time messing around. My friend at the time Stone and I became really close that time we shared an interest in guitar hero and all the songs we learned from that video game we would also hangout with eachother at this place called the youth center inside luke afb.Note that I grew up a military kid and a big chunk of my aldolocents was spending time at that air force base many many memories are associated with that place so its wild to think that those days are over. Anywho may came along and it just made me even more excited since my birthday was on the last day of school and it was like that for a while I loved the last day of school mainly becuase it was my birthday and just made the whole expierence much more greater lol my father came into my classroom dressed up in his military uniform and came to pick me up from school that day. He picked me up becuase I had a doctors appointment on base I fucking locked my dads in the truck that day but I guess it all worked out mom dad and I ended up heading to the movie theaters that night and watched indiana jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull which was a good time then after all that I was dropped off at my grandmas to sleep over for the night to be picked up that next moring to head to california with my cousin christina. That weekend was great jam packed weekend we did so much we celebrated my birthday along with my cousin danielle she was turning 18 and ya boy was turning 10 i think but yes i remember really enjoying that weekend it was just filled with unique ass vibes its kinda hard to explain but overall cool shit.
My Linux journey started in 2023, I believe—I could be wrong, but more or less, I am learning every day about this operating system through simple trial and error. What’s cool about Linux is that it is lightweight; it doesn't clog your system with unnecessary apps or programs that make your machine run like dog shit. I got my first Lenovo laptop from my brother-in-law, who had no use for it. It came pre-loaded with Windows 11, and I noticed it had about 8GB of RAM and a 250GB SSD. That wasn't too bad for a little laptop. I did some research and purchased a 16GB Crucial RAM module. It was my first time ever installing RAM into a laptop, so it was great practice. Oh yeah, I also installed a 2TB SSD as well. Once I installed Linux, this thing was blazing—and it still is to this day.
I currently have Pop!_OS installed and have been using it for about two years now. I can safely say I know how to navigate the file system; I'm not scared of the terminal and actually use it for most tasks. I believe I’ve broken the system on a few occasions, but that’s the cool part—I learn from those little mistakes. I don’t think I’ve completely 'riced' it out, but I’ve made it look how I want aesthetically.
Linux is teaching me how to really utilize my command line and honestly I love the navigation part of it being able to "CD" into certain directorys is pretty satisfying. Currently im trying to clean my whole directory or my files section becuase I just have so much random folders and files just scattered and im not really diggin that whole concept of it so pretty soon I will be doing a clense. With free time I have at work im doing little research on servers and just self hosting certain applications so I am able to get the hang of things with certain programs, I really want to get into NAS and just overall the whole premis around it and having my own jellyfin server is what intrests me the most.
Over the weekend I had the pleasure of really getting down to setup more into my home server. The Mini PC I have has about 256gb of internal storage and its running the whole thing which is hosting ZIMA OS. The cool thing is that I got my windows 11 pc to communicate with it via SAMBA file share so when I decided to test out saving a movie file to the jelly fin server it worked. So I uploaded my first film into the JellyFin server which was honestly not that hard I just made sure the saved movie file was directed towards my server. I used MAKEMKV for the blu-ray save this will be the tool I will be using for future rips the software is easy to use and makes the process feel super liminal.
My IT Specialist job has really came in clutch for this little project and it has gained me the knowledge to really understand my home network. I still want to run more tests and stuff there is so much to do with this whole project like creating that jellyfin server and pumping it with so much movies and shows. But I think the next goal is to really measure how much Storage I need so I am able to get away from "Apple ICloud".
Hobby lobby AI slop merchandise we moved the set up as of a outage. A weekend of slow internet eats at the soul other than that we are back online baby check out the new location.Still rocking the ZIMA OS server and this is such a cool little system I got going on here since its giving me some more practice with all of this so that is rad some techno shit my dude lol. Also still rocking that cachy OS on the t14 gen 1 honestly this is a good little rig I love itand will continue to test with cachy os its all so new still
